Arrive Santiago, Chile

Valparaiso and Casablanca Wine Valley.

Head outside the city to explore the colorful bohemian town of Valparaiso and the wine growing region of Casablanca Valley.

Valparaíso is a UNESCO Heritage port city (founded 1536), which has merits to spare for it to face the 21st century with renewed vitality as a magical combination of a modern city port and world cultural heritage city. Walk its cobblestone streets and admire the unique 19th century architectural style. Enjoy panoramic views of over 45 hills and experience the funiculars (cable cars) and the beauty of the cemeteries.

A highlight is a visit to the house of famed poet and Nobel prize winner Pablo Neruda. La Sebastiana, Pablo Neruda’s house, is where he created many poems about love and the sea. Get a glimpse of the poet’s life and inspiration.

Head to the wine-growing region of Casablanca Valley, a cool coastal climate makes this region ideal for white varietals, and accordingly the Valley is known for its premium Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc wines. Visit a collection of wineries to sample a variety of delicious wines.
